DevChecki ("we", "this site") at devchecki.com provides free, browser-based hardware diagnostic tools. This policy explains what data is and isn't collected when you use the site.
1. Your hardware tests stay on your device
All diagnostic tests — microphone, webcam, speakers, keyboard, mouse, touchscreen, battery, screen, GPU, gamepad, and system information — run entirely inside your web browser using standard web APIs.
- Microphone audio is analyzed and (if you use the record feature) stored only in your browser's temporary memory. It is never uploaded, transmitted, or saved to any server. Recordings are discarded when you leave the page.
- Webcam video and snapshots are displayed locally only and never leave your device.
- Test results and system information are shown to you and exported only if you choose to download a report. We do not receive or store them.
Browser permission prompts for the microphone and camera are controlled by your browser — you can revoke them at any time in your browser settings.
2. Internet speed test
The speed test downloads and uploads test data to Cloudflare's public speed-test endpoints (speed.cloudflare.com) to measure your connection. Your IP address is visible to Cloudflare during these requests, as with any website you visit. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
3. Advertising and cookies
This site may display advertisements served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites.

Users in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland may be shown a consent message before personalized ads are served, as required by law.
4. Analytics
We do not currently run our own analytics or tracking scripts. If this changes, this policy will be updated.
5. Data we collect directly
None. DevChecki has no accounts, no sign-ups, no forms, and no database of user data. Standard web server logs (IP address, time of request) may be kept temporarily by our hosting provider for security and operational purposes.
6. Children's privacy
This site provides general-purpose hardware testing tools and does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
